How to think in 'No SQL' if i have SQL Background

I have already gone through with the relative comparison how a 'NO SQL'
query can be written to achieve same task using SQL.
I am very much comfortable with SQL, but lets say i want to use 'NO SQL'
Database then how should i approach:
Things that i must know
What should not be compared with SQL
Referencing
some example use cases can make me understand it more clear.
